Your plans for a leave of absence should be discussed with your team in advance. Please fill out the leave-of-absence request form, sign it, append YourLastName and_YYMMDD (first day of leave) to the file name and send it to helge.braunwiso.uni-koeln.de with subject CER_leave_of_absence_YourLastName with your primary supervisor / the lecturer you are TA-ing for(if during the term) / your "Personalverantworliche(r) in CC. If a replacement/stand-in is required, this must be indicated on the vacation request form. The signed application will be returned by e-mail.
Office-TuV and Office-SHK/WHK should then please enter their leave in the Outlook CER OfficeTuV and OfficeSHK/WHK calendar.
Please note: Vacation leave cannot be saved up indefinitely. If annual leave is not taken in the following calendar year, it will be forfeited. (The only exception is parental leave) Further information from the HR department on vacation can be found here: https://verwaltung.uni-koeln.de/abteilung41/content/topics_a_z/paid_leave/index_eng.html Vacation days are calculated according to the number of working days. With a 5-day week, there are 30 days of vacation per calendar year. If you join or leave our team during the year, vacation days are calculated pro rata. The same applies if there are fewer working days per week. The colleagues in your office team are happy to help with the calculation. At the beginning of the year, all colleagues are notified of their remaining vacation days.
